Released in 1956, Songs for Swingin’ Lovers was Frank Sinatra's fourth album recorded for Capitol Records. With arrangements by Nelson Riddle, Sinatra delivered a fresh, jazzy spin on well-known pop standards. In 2000, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and was listed #306 on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Many Sinatra enthusiasts regard this work as his best-or at least second only to In the Wee Small Hours.
